Yeah I have a bunch of EItS shows on my computer and I've never seen them say anything. I think it kind of only works for post-rock though.

Pretty much, they're the only guys still doing it really (that I know of). Everyone else's slowly moved away from that, especially Sigur Ros(sp.) and God Is An Astronaut.

Mogwai just seem to try too hard. Their dynamics, build-ups/crescendos are done all wrong, and it never gets to a point of intensity. What's post-rock without build-ups anyways?

I have to say that besides Mogwai's s/t EP, I'm not a big fan. Their album "Happy Songs For Happy People" was extremely disappointing in every way, from the music to the album art.
