Yeah that could be the case. I don't take in protein outside of my actual food intake. But I plan to soon because I've ramped up my routine quite a bit.

Yeah protein is important, but don't overdo it. It won't screw up your body if you do, but I think it's overstated quite a bit. If you take in too much, the excess could end up in your fat stores....

Pretty much! But you could also buy a cheap dumbbell set from Wal-Mart. I use my dumbbells, and I use an old swing set down the street for pull-ups, chin-ups, wipers, etc.

Unfortunately you can't target weight loss. As others have said, it's mainly cardio. I have a fat pouch as well, and it's a shame because I have hardly any fat anywhere else. It's so damn pesky.
