I really would like to see Godspeed! give the ultimate one-finger-salute to the U.S. gov't by playing a festival in the States or something....it's a shame we won't get to see them here....

One group that has been largely left out of the discussion here (and I'm not sure why) is Tristeza. "A Colores" was brilliant. Same with the Mercury Program. They're fantastic at what they do.

This is exactly why I submitted that we should place artists like Mogwai and Godspeed in a genre I call "soundtrack rock", but all I got was scoffs and hostility.
