Smudging is a Native American custom. Burning sweetgrass, or sage, immersing yourself in the smoke to cleanse any impurities from your spirit. It's very gratifying. Usually I meditate afterwards.

Yes, it was an exceptionally good day. We don't too many like that. Most days, it's a few hours in the evening. There are stretches when we communicate by leaving notes on the counter. LOL....
