I think BH is a little less focused on mathematical and technical play than guys like vai and satch. He's not afraid to go simple. I think he's more creative and has a more unique sound.

I hear what you're saying. He can Use his knowledge to create beautiful music. He's really just a master. He can do anything with a guitar. Whether or not any of it has "soul", that's very debatable....
