I agree. They were a lot more ambient with their later recordings. White pony was an experimental mixture of hard play mixed with ambience. I wouldn't really consider them nu-metal. But definitely...

Anyone else into this band? White Pony and self titled are pretty good. Their newer stuff - Diamond Eyes and Saturday Night Wrist maybe weaker than their previous discography but worth a listen.
