i am channeling the snow (oh, how?)
does the stellar moonlight on my eyelids glow?
techno-calico, black and white
the neutral shades must ebb and flow
buzz buzz (oh, what's this now?)
is that the infomercial fuzz?
pyrite porcelain checks to write
still waiting for the bill to come tonight
and ain't it funny when there's no money
but winter's on all year 'round
for i am channeling the snow (and now?)
it turns out static is my favorite show.

the sting
reminds me of a lightning bug
but one round wall cannot contain me

lose my teeth or lose my dignity
i choose

i am plugged in
to waste your hard-earned dollar on the styling of your hair?
it would be an honor
you lend an ear and i'll burn it to ash
each syllable a separate flame
just to let you know i'm here
i'm still plugged in

and there is still a use for me
