Yea man, I'm interested in actually hearing it. I play fingerstyle myself, but I do everything by ear and in open tunings so I can't really transpose your notes in my head.

I forgot you said you used Sonar. I use 7PE. What version you have again?

Going off what I had said on chat, did you ever figure out how to copy track envelopes?

I've followed all the help files, to no avail.

I have a song where I use a synth sound and load it in the drum synth on a pad, and I manipulate the pitch by enabling automation on the pitch wheel and editing the envelope on the track.
Takes a while, but I like the portamento it gives you. Thing is, I can't seem to copy the envelope and paste it anywhere else. I know I could export the track as it is, but I need to be able to change things in the midi editor.

Just copy the entire Track into wherever you are working and delete the music. It will leave you with an empty audio or midi track with the envelopes still there.

I need the automation envelopes copied further down the same track. Say I automate a 4 bar loop from a synth and get all my nodes where I want... then I copy the 4 bar synth loop and paste so that it's an 8 bar loop of two repeating 4's, well no matter what I do, the automation envelopes don't copy with it. I've tried copying just the audio track including envelopes, no dice. Tried copying the synth track but the option for including envelopes is grayed out.

Hrmm.
