Default ADELE's Songwriting Journal

I'm selling out
you're coming out

drive by drive by

watch my greasy ho's and you all knows

drive by drive by

I like brown coke and I don't mean fizzy
drive by drive by

me now hitting Dizzy me hitting Dizzy
drive by drive by
Cause lyrical speed without the weed
in my place in time
brothas with me rhyme

drive by drive by

I'm dead already
never going steady
cause drive by drive by

hear me now saying
no need for more praying
it was a drive by drive by

I am currently selling this to major labels.
I appreciate your contributions to my rap song.

Default Christmas song

Christmas is near once again my child
Joy to all mankind
lets make the next year better then last
lets all try to be real kind

For saviours and saints
among the crowd
Shall winters time spread cheer
Tell that someone who is real close
I love you still my dear

Chorus
Oh festive season
merry are we
Sing a song of joy
Mary this day in bethlehem
gave birth to our little boy

His love we feel
all round the world
his healing words we send
This broken world
we all live in
is about to mend.

I am currently sending it to cliff richard and he looks keen.
Tell me what you think.
It is not my usual material but I want a Christmas song you see.
I suppose without the music it doesn't give off the idea but tell me what you think.

yes genius but to get it in the shops by christmas you need to write before christmas.
for example, toys made for christmas and chocs and cards are actually made before christmas.
This elementary process of marketing is far to detailed for me to teach to you here and now.
Did you know slades christmas song was written in a hot new york summer and was intended as another song till they got the idea.
Christmas songs are made before christmas to ensure all the media and marketing is done to be ready for the festive season.
But what do you think of my lyrics?

I am obviously not in the same business mindset.
I think you need to jazz it up a bit. It reads like a christmas carol and that won't appeal to the kids.

perhaps.
Although the christmas music that accomanies it will I think.
I feel a bit like I am selling my genius for cash by letting Cliff record it but at least it gives me some money to write my more punk orientated stuff.
I will put up one of my own bands lyrics soon.
They are called Nathan and the Ballbusters.

Ronan Keating is eager but I am not too comfortable with his desire to move into different musical expression.
