Just put up some poetry. Half the 'songs' that get posted are poems.

Well i think if there was a general disdain for it we should probably respect the majorities wishes. Only reason for asking, also, to circumvent the way between Sonnet and...everyone else.

if people didn't like poetry, we wouldn't post it. thats why im asking

I was trying to cut off a fight between A Perfect Sonnet and the other posters thats going on in another thread.

Well, I agree with what A_Perfect_Sonnet is saying in his other thread.
Lyrics are poetry, all lyrics. Lyric is a form of poetry. Therefore all lyrics are poetry.

I for one, love poetry. I will not call myself an expert by any means but I do love what I have heard.

I said yes because poetry and lyrics are similar and i know for a lot of people Lyrics stream from poems they've written
