Default Skaligojurah's Collection

Well, as we speak, I'm at hard work for what I consider my second 'album' of my music project 'Feirbombe Viakome'. A very unadvertised, and never performed project which is currently in a state of invisibility to the public, or local eye (Great conditions to start). However, due to me constantly being inspired, and needing to work, I've been developing this song by song.

Anyway, I thought I'd share it with my fellow MBers who may be interested in what I'm doing artistically. If not, no need to read further.

Feirbombe Viakome 2: Prologue

Prologue by FeirbombeViakome on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

The opening piece to a concept piece involving the apocalypse, and surviving in the uncivilized wilderness. The prologue deals with the aftermath of a comet hitting the Earth, and our unnamed female lead waking up in the deserts outside of a burning city somewhere in Ethiopia. She is immediately greeted with a voice in her head which compels her to turn her back on the flaming city, and march forward to find new civilization.

This piece was done with nothing beyond Audacity, Orion Pro(and only for the percussion), and direct recording from my keyboard. It was originally going to be a tightly composed chamber piece and somehow evolved(or possibly devolved) into experimenting with composition styles around Zorn/Cage's music game ideologies.

Listen, tell me what you guys think.

Well, as you all may or may not know, I am doing open mic shows every Monday. I don't have any tapes of them, but the bar I go to was featured in a college newspaper, so I have a somewhat high quality picture of me performing:

awesome, huh?
