I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Working on an album again, temporary joblessness and the lack of any real fulfilling hobbies lately led to do this. It has felt cathartic so far to work on something tangible. I don't really have much of a plan or anything, I'm just jumping into Ableton and seeing where my heart takes me.

I'd like to say I've been doing a lot of things lately, but I'm not. However, I've really been feeling the creative bug lately. I've released a new full album and a few singles. Feel free to listen to them here.

300000: https://catswithhats.bandcamp.com/album/300000
CWH2: https://catswithhats.bandcamp.com/album/cwh2
Nothing But A Metaphor (single): https://catswithhats.bandcamp.com/tr...t-a-metaphor-2

And in case you missed it, I released cryptic back in April:

I’ve been a little intimidated by the volume of material you released in 2020. Cryptic
is pretty long but CWH2 is a more approachable length.

I mean I get it that if you have something to release it’s a creative outlet but just FYI even among artists I really like, you for example, when I’m looking at bandcamp and see more than three releases in a year I usually pass because I mean it’s a lot of time.

I get how you feel. If it’s good enough to be released then it should be released. You’re not making money anyway (I don’t think) but from my perspective, and I don’t think I’m alone here, less is usually more for a fan who’s digging through a lot of new material from a lot of different artists.

Also, a lot the ambient drone dudes drop stuff using different names and obviously that’s stupid af for me to be more receptive to but maybe it helps me to compartmentalize

I legit wasnt planning on release more after cryptic but I just kept getting more ideas. It should slow down now. I'm satisfied with what I've made. Thank you for your suggestions tho :]

Part of it is probably just me being old. I spent my whole life where releases had to be cut down to around 45-50 minutes to fit on a record. With the mediums used today time and music have a very different relationship.

Plus the music I like the most tends to lend itself to an ambiguous approach to time. I guess I was making suggestions but I want it to be more just like observations from a listener’s POV. Just one old ****’s reaction to it all.

It's all good! I dont expect people to even listen so I always appreciate your thoughts. Plus a lot of times, people make suggestions that I never wouldve thought so its always good. I'm just a normal guy making stuff I like.
