Reviving this thread because I feel like I haven't made a music-related post in a long time. I started working on this today and I have the first section down pretty well.

I feel like I'm finally at the level where I can play works by the masters as they were originally written. It's exciting.

I'm currently trying to learn "Amnesia" from 5SOS , I already learned the intro, and actually it's not too hard, but find a good relation between sing and play the instrument. That's really hard!.

In general I think, it's more easy to learn in two different parts, the lyrics and the chords. So, by the time they'll came togheter it's goin to be gorgeus!

For some reason this just popped into my head:

So I learned it on Ukulele about 5 minutes ago.

I'll try and get a good recording of it.

Since I just started learning to play the German/medieval bagpipe some months ago, I'm currently learning lots of the bagpipe parts of some medieval rock songs. Saltatio Mortis even provides some bagpipe playthroughs on YouTube.
Problem is, with only the bagpipe parts I will never get a complete song ready

I just completed Mood for a Day on guitar and have started learning the violin on Promontory from Last of the Mohicans.

Can still play instruments with that. Software ones.

Learned Killing Me Softly but it was easier than I thought.
Learned some funk rhythms and some harmonic analysis for jazz standards.

I've been learning to play What Is Hip by Tower of Power on the drums. I'm a huge fan of David Garibaldi's drumming, and study a lot from his book Future Sounds... So, I've recently started diving into his playing a bit deeper. It's very cool!
