I doubt if it's this one. The sample you played sounds a little closer to Shining Star as far as the horns went though the synths sound a little more like Stevie Wonder. Of course EWF used synthesizers too, so yeah, it does sound closer to EWF than anything else to me.

If they(the group you posted) sampled it, it's written down somewhere what they sampled from. You can contact their label and ask, or check the credits on this song.

The thing is, i AM from that group and sampled it by myself over 20 years ago (on the cover the second guy from left, thats me ;-) ) But cant remember the Record and where it came from. Also tryed all the Apps
