Me too. Well.. to a certain degree. I have Matt & Kim's Grand and listen to it occasionally. I like some of the Killers' stuff but don't have any. I probably won't ever bother. I've already heard most of it too much.

I dunno. I like a lot of stuff.

Well that's good. Let me know if you need any help finding the CDs, I may be able to help with that action.

Just out of curiosity, what tracks didn't jive with you?

I made an alternative hip hop beginner's guide before, plus a few others.

http://www.musicbanter.com/soundtrac...ion-index.html

There is also an index on the front page that is pretty up to date.
I'll make another one this week, also.
I'm liking a lot of what I see on LoathsomePete's.

The Beginner's Guide to Post-Metal

I was a little surprised with the attention the Post-Metal thread got after I bumped it with my Post-Metal 8tracks mix. I figured I might as well throw together a mix and upload it for people who are interested in it, or at least hearing what it's all about.

Track Listing:

Rosetta - "Absent"
ISIS - "False Light"
Russian Circles - "Geneva"
Mouth of the Architect - "Guilt and the Like"
Giant Squid - "La Brea Tar Pits (Psuedomonas Putida)"
Cult of Luna - "Leave Me Here"
The Ocean - "Metaphysics of the Hangman"
Neurosis - "Stones Throw From the Sky"
Year of No Light - "Selenite"
*shels - "The Conference of the Birds"
Pelican - "The Creeper"
The Pax Cecilia - "The Machine"
Deathmole - "Unicorn Battle Tactics"
Callisto - "Wormwood"

Enjoy

It would have been nice to see a Battle of Mice track

But that's a good comp there.

After downloading A Day of Nights I'm actually quite happy I left them off. Looking at their lineup it's hard to see why this didn't work out for me, but thems the breaks.

Sleep and Dream? Bones in the Water? At the Base of the Giant's Throat?

None of those hit home for you?

Oceanic is the best ISIS album though, so I'm liking that pick a lot.
