That was an entertaining extra time. What were the odds of Turkey tieing it up at the last second....Croatia choked in the shootout, plain and simple.

Too bad Croatia couldn't score on any one of their 3 glorious chances earlier,,,I mean an empty net,,,twice and you miss both times!! Still, I have to give Turkey some credit, they absolutely never give up, and the Croatians,,, I mean celebrate when the game is OVER!...they were totally distracted after they scored, the coach should have been screaming at them to focus on the last minute of play not jumping into the pile like they just won the world cup. Too bad I like the David vs Goliath story that they had going.

Meh. I'll actually just support Turkey for the remainder of this competition now. At the least, I definitely want them to beat the Germans.

That's gonna be very dificult seeing as how they're gonna be playing without half their first team. It was a Pyrrhic victory. :\

What to say about the game. I thought it was kind of boring to watch, but that ending was just heartbreaking. It's stupid to say that we deserved to go through, but we did have a lot more chances than they did and for the first 90 minutes clearly dominated...but from then on it was downhill. C'est la vie...still, a goddamn shame...this was the best shot we had in a very long time and we blew it.

Onwards and upwards, Spain better not let me down after Portugal...never bet against the fucking Germans...
