I have fell away from using the gym. My car was off the road for a long time and a few other things were going on so I cancelled my membership. I have started running though and I am thoroughly enjoying it!! Currently using the app C25K and I’m on week 4 I do miss the gym but I’ll need to look at joining one a lot more local to home address so that if my car is off the road I can walk/cycle instead. While my car was off the road I was cycling everywhere, once I got over the initial fear it was great fun.

It pays to have a clear picture of what you’re aiming for
It definitely pays. I'm trying to lose some weight and gain some strength. Having some cardio endurance for when I play hockey would be nice too.

Todays run was awful, I felt sick the full time and had to pretty much double the walking sections my last run was on Wednesday so I’m not sure if it’s just because I haven’t been consistent enough this week. I beat 4 of my personal records on strava though so I can’t complain too much

I know the feeling. I was on vacation last week. I got my steps in, but there was not a ton of exercise thrown in. Now I'm home, and I feel like crap. I ran from my friend's house to mine (he had my mail). I could barely handle that. It wasn't even far!

Needless to say, I'm getting back at 'er today.

Probably the wrong forum, esp since Adi no longer seems to be active, but... is anyone here doing bench press with a narrow grip? I started about a month ago and it's easily the most tiring thing I've ever done (for trapeziuses and rhomboids). Each time I'm barely functional the following day. Like, it's good tired but at levels I don't remember experiencing though I've been lifting for years.

Does it make sense that I never used those muscles even though I've done back day consistently?

Eatin good in the neighborhood. I can taste the tinny-ness from here.

After over a year of consistently doing my 5-day routine, yesterday I missed a day. For some reason I just hopped in the shower and then realized I hadn't done my workout yet. I just shrugged it off and got ready for work. I made up for this morning.

Just the normal ravioli. It would be the overstuffed kind but for some reason they use a different, nastier sauce. Cheese isn't a bad idea.

I do not know why I have never put hot sauce on it. Seems obvious now.
