I'm still on my five-day routine of light weights and calisthenics after starting about 16 months or so ago. It's as much a part of my day as anything else, and I don't even want to think about where I'd be if I hadn't pushed myself to keep it going. I sit at a desk for at least 8 hours a day and most times more than that because of my projects, so having something to counter that keeps me moving.

It also gives me that healthy, youthful glow.

Damn doing a routine for 16 months!
I definitely need to eat more protein, roman noodles and apples is basically zero protein lol Thinking of buying peanut butter and bread and eating peanut butter sandos since thats cheap.

That's the bar I'm using^ not much weight but it works to get me tired.

Light weight for at least a few weeks is a good way to build a solid muscle base.

Ever tell you blokes how I dropped a barbell on my lower jaw while doing a set of bench presses back in the mid 80s?

Thanksgiving dinner through a straw that year!

I'm just waiting till Mindy throws out his back again cause he refuses to use a responsible workout routine.

responsible workout

Walking in the gym on a treadmill, running some. Situps, squats, curls, military press, deadlifts... nothing too wild.

Fitness is about diet though, workout out not going to change **** if I'm still eating canned food and roman noodles

They just don't have many healthy food options at dollar general. But when I go to the big store 15 mins down the road, I get rice and apples.
