Anyone recommend some wireless headphones? I got some seinheiser wireless headphones on boxing day and hate them. They were 89 bucks and big disappointment. Lots of crackling and having to tune them is a huge pain. Is this a problem with the quality of the product or is it just that the technology just isn't there for wireless headphones.

Hmm that's odd. Especially considering Sennheiser's reputation. The technology is definitely there, do you have a lot of other electrical or wireless devices that could be creating interference? Does proximity to the transmitter help alleviate the noise and static? What do you normally do with the headphones that makes a traditional wire connection impractical? Have you replaced the batteries to make sure the issue persists with fresh ones?

Or was it just that they were on sale and you got sucked in an impulse purchase

Raised expectations I guess.

I would like to get myself a pair of their HD 500-series headphones at some point, but these will definitely do for now.

They were a massive upgrade for me when I first got them. Not bad at all.

Strictly Skullcandy for me. Have Titans, Smokin Budz and SkullCrushers. I've had lots of others but nothing holds up to my rough treatment like Skullcandy, and the sound is pretty much uncontested

That's the first good thing I've ever heard about Skullcandy.

Impulse buy anny way I returned them. I definitely don't need wireless headphones. I do how ever want some headphones that use a modular cord audio jack. Like one that plugs into the headphone rather than being directly connected to the headphones itself. Could anyone recommend me a pair?

My HD600s do it, but I'd be scared they would wear down and stop fastening securely.

The only time they have been removed from my pair was when my cat ran full steam into the cord and they fell to the floor.
