Picked up Planted Waves's GTR3 software bundle and was messing around with it today using some clean electric guitar loops. Pretty freaking incredible sounding and very, very versatile. Here's what you get:

25 guitar amps (modeled after Paul Reed Smith's personal collection)
7 bass amps
26 effects
30 speaker cabs
30 microphone options
tuner

You can use either one or two amps at once:

And then up to 5 stomps in any configuration and with numerous patching options:

PRS was hands on throughout the process.

I'd consider it if I didn't have Guitar Rig from NI already and all guitars made by Orange Tree Samples

Waves really seem to have been on a discount binge this summer, though. I feel like I get an email from them every other day.

Most VSTi developers have summer sales going on now, which is interesting. I just picked up a solo flute from 8dio earlier today.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Im using Cubase 10.5 Artist and love it, very stable , loads of plugs and instruments.

Or if youre trying to keep a budget try the Sony Acid Express , i used it years ago , it came in a bundle and tried it , was surprisingly easy to use , intuitive , great for sketch pad stuff if you wanna get ideas down quickly. Lots of beats and sounds in there , great for 8 bit dinky electronica ( which i love )

FL is good, but I'm using Mixcraft it has better and simpler interface. Try it

Hey...all These are some important softwares you get to use.

Ableton Live: A favorite among electronic music producers, Ableton Live offers a versatile and intuitive interface. It excels in live performance and creative experimentation with loops and samples.

Pro Tools: This industry-standard software is widely used in professional recording studios. It offers powerful audio editing and mixing capabilities, making it a top choice for music production and post-production work.

Logic Pro X: An exclusive for macOS users, Logic Pro X is known for its user-friendly interface and comprehensive set of virtual instruments and effects. It's a great option for those diving into music production on Apple devices.

FL Studio: Loved by many electronic and hip-hop producers, FL Studio provides a step-based sequencer and an extensive collection of virtual instruments and plugins.

Cubase: A well-established DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), Cubase offers a robust set of tools for recording, editing, and mixing music, suitable for various genres and styles.

Reason: A unique software that emulates a virtual rack of synthesizers and effects, Reason is favored by those who enjoy a more hardware-like approach to music production.

GarageBand: Pre-installed on macOS devices, GarageBand is an excellent starting point for beginners. It offers a user-friendly interface and basic recording and editing features.

Reaper: A more affordable option compared to some of the others, Reaper is a powerful and flexible DAW that caters to musicians and producers on a budget.
