not sure on the first model but the rainbow effect on the 2nd one can be faked with a lot of paint as opposed to lots of layers of wood.

it's just a matter of spraying successive layers of paint and lacquer in the order you want them to be seen then sanding the body down to the point where the 'right' colour is showing through.

for the first one they might just tape out the natural areas prior to staining the rest. either way i like the two tone version way more than the ultra bright rainbow

I've seen these before man, Gibson says they're made with seperate pieces of wood.

well that answers that, but depending on the finish you're looking to achieve there are still other options out there.

OH yeah dude, no probs, im new to these forums, not liking my old forums i used to visit. Im not sure where I can find them, or if I can move threads. :P

I also, dont like pointy guitars,even though I do have a warlock, I don't judge unless I know for a fact that the guitar doesent play as well as it should.
