are you looking towards really high end combo amps or taking the plunge into head/cab stacks?

it seems that there's an all tube marshall combo that would probably be at the top end of your budget maybe a little more but i doubt it would disappoint haha.

if i was in the market with your budget i'd wait until i could afford this thing

Buy Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 Tube Combo Amp | Tube Combo Amps | Musician's Friend

Haha iv actualy been looking at it. Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 50W Tube Guitar Combo Amp and more Guitar Amplifiers at GuitarCenter.com.

It just goest make sence to me, so little knobs! ad it doesent say it comes with a peddle. It is also 2 channel, I like having a clean, crunch, 0d1 od2, the crunch isent a must but, good to have.

I was looking at this. WAY beyond my budget, but I have played it at my local store. It is amazing.

Marshall JVM410C 100W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp and more Guitar Amplifiers at GuitarCenter.com.

great minds think alike hahah

kind of crappy and surprising that it doesn't include a foot switch pedal. shouldn't be too expensive though.

Get a Carvin. They make combo versions of both the X100-B, V3 and Legacy. Any of those can beat out a Marshall tone-wise and with $1400 you could get a full stack, whereas with marshall that'll get you a 2x12 combo.
