WISK is my band, and we're pretty badass. We play free improvisation and this had given us quite a dynamic discography. The sound is a blend of free jazz, psychedelica, noise, and some straight avant-gardism.

The group is an improvisational collective, so each album sees different musicians. The founding member and key members of the group are multi-instrumentalists Christophe Bassett (myself) and Stryder Rymer.

We went a bit jazzier at some points on this one. There's also a ring shout on there as well as a throwback to our album Indecent Vibrations, but this time more noisy and disjointed. Some punkier stuff on there as well, this album goes all over the place.

WISK is preparing our next release, How Your Mother Cried Last Night. It's going to be one of our better albums so far with the tracks we have on it already. You're going to love How Your Mother Cried Last Night, I know I do. Here's a little preview called Mona Lisa's Turpentine Addiction:
