Just listen to song that are already made and take ideas. And i dont mean take them exactly, just learn how they set up there songs nd what kind of sounds and samples they use. Then u can have a frame of reference for when u make yours.

To mix just dont cheap out when you buy a mixer. Most good ones will have tempo matching and many other cool features. I suggest getting a compltely difital mixer to start. Also read the directions and lots of tutorials and you will be well on your way.
