Me and The Major
|
![]() I saw this guy last night at a rec. center of sorts, I just went there to play pool but apparently they were having some acoustic/folk artists playing. This guy is from Louisville, KY and has one of the best voices that I've ever heard. He sounded a lot like Iron and Wine and when I talked to him after his set he said that he's been listening to Tom Waits more than anything lately. He signed to Sonablast Records earlier this year and already has 3 lp's and an ep under his belt. He released The Fallen Acrobat in 2003, Honey From The Ribcage in 2005 and The Recalibrated Heart earlier this year. I picked up The Recalibrated Heart and The Fallen Acrobat last night and I've been listening to them all morning. But yeah, check out his myspace and let me know if you'd like either one of those two albums upped then say so.
