This game is very similar to the game we play on turntable @ Connect The Songs! Read Info! | turntable

The idea there is that you can connect either song or artist names. And in fact, it doesn't have to be a whole word, but just four consecutive letters. Like Things That Should Not Be could be connected to Would by Alice in Chains which could connect to Johnny Cash "Rusty Chain"

So sorry, I didn't even notice artist connects weren't allowed. Are you sure you don't want to ammend your game/rules to include artist connects? That makes things a lot more versatile. For example, there's a band called If These Trees Could Talk that has a song called "41° 4' 23'' N, -81° 31' 4'' W" Can't connect that with anything, but you can use THESE, TREE(S), or TALK as valid connects.

Let's broaden it a little bit. No harm done, just opening things up even more! Whatdya say?

Edit: For example, I don't know any songs called "Committed" but by other rules I could connect "Communication Breakdown" with four letters or find a "sane" connect from the artist.

If something like that happens, it's up to common sense, reply to the preceding post or find a song with 4 (four) in it.

Sorry, I'd like to stick to titles.

Partial word match can be used in case of emergency, again combined with common sense. Hard task for a computer but humans can handle it, I hope.

No objection to adding artist connects but for the sake of the challenge

Aphex Twin - Afx237 v7
Butthole Surfers - 22 Going on 23
John Cooper Clarke - 23rd
Psychic TV - Hymn 23
Brothers Johnson - Strawberry Letter 23
