Bro, if you dont consider zeppelin metal. You are crazy. Zeppelin is one of the bands that started metal. True it doesnt sound like metal does now. But then, that was metal.

Ok, then why stop there?... Why not Blue Cheer, The Yardbirds or even The Beatles.... Helter Skelter and I Want You (She's So Heavy) were very heavy songs for their time.

I never said i was stopping. Sure , page was in the yardbirds too. But this thread is about the best metal guitarist. And i said Jimmy Page. So thats my opinion. Sorry you dont like it.

Dimebag is not best by far...he just blew up once he died..hes definetly good..but is he even skilled enough to match people like Vai, Herman Li, and Michael Romeo

Hence the reason I asked for his best work. Half the people can't even name his second band. Nor can they name 8 Pantera songs in 30 seconds. It's a fad. It'll go away. I hope.
