I would go with Pet Sounds from the Beatles.

Back on topic:
I really like the madness of Mass Projection and the calamity of it all, but I believe that AMM takes the cake in this case. I really like all of the textures that AMM develop in "Coffin nor Shelf" especially.

AMM- 1
Massive Projection- 0

Thanks for getting back on track, Frown. And thanks Janszoon fore cleaning up the last few posts and editing the front font.

And, this battle isn't over yet, but if anyone would like to submit a challenger for the next round, that's fine by me.

Anyway...
----------------------------

Massive Projection went to some strange places. But AMM really blew my mind with the textures and sounds they dared to come up with. I love bands ahead of their time, and for 1968, AMM definitely fits that category.

AMM- 2
Massive Projection- 0

The link I had for the AMM album was corrupted so I'm not sure if I'll be voting, but if I'm still allowed, my my nominee to challenge the winner would be Thrust by Herbie Hancock.

^^ Consider Thrust the challenger. I would like to see 2-3 more votes, but if it stays dead for a couple of days... I will declare AMM the winner.
