It does. If you change your idea for a band title based off of the opinions of whether it sounds emo or not then all hope for you is lost.

everything is considered emo nowadays.....who really honestly cares if your name sounds emo or not, if you like it then you like it....i think the name is kinda dumb, but it shouldnt matter what is 'sounds like'
