Belinda Carlisle? She looked very good during the late eighties. But much of that was makeup. She was very boyish-looking without.

Too bad she never really gets to do anything guitar wise... Kevin has the live set-ups so you can barely hear her playing.

I think you could describe pretty much every non-Kevin element of a MBV performance like that.
