Joy Division - very nice addition to the depressing list by either/or.

And Elliott Smith… Dead on, too. I mean, c'mon, what could be more depressing than a singer/songwriter who commits suicide - by stabbing himself in the freakin' heart?!

very true alexisonfire - Poor Ian… having epilepsy and doing a lot of drugs apparently leads to a short life with a tragic ending.
