Okay, so now you're talking about popularity. I bet if you take a poll on who would be remembered from that period (and I realize Whiteman had his share of big hits in the 1920s and 1930s), I bet you would hear more votes for Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington than you would for Paul Whiteman.

Anyway, if there is a young person who hasn't heard of the Beatles (or the Rolling Stones for that matter), it isn't the end of the world. Have to go now, but really appreciated the discussion, rotasi.

Yeah, as far as that K-Pop band, I only know of them from a couple late night appearances. Not really my thing
