Anyway, yeah, I need to listen to some stuff on headphones to get the right effect. There's definitely music that sounds kind of muddy on speakers where you can pick out individual elements and hear more complexity and subtlety on ear/headphones.

Any stereo track with lots of different instruments/layers going on. It's a lot easier to hear all of it with headphones.
