With me, it's "Pantera". All of my coworkers hear the name of the band and think it's eighties hair metal or something, and even though their first album was, the rest got real hard real quick.
Also "Motograter", but not many people know them.

all of my favorite bands.60's music, especially the bands such as Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane.They are just for old people?

well... things like GnR and ACDC that i like... people think im a poser because all the posers listen to that crap... and the n everyone else, bar a few, listen to good charlotte and simple plan and say they rock... they suck

well pretty much everything i haven't convinced them i like....too long a list...
but my other friends don't like the oldies, not even the 70's, it's too old for them!

I'd have to say a band called 'Green Carnation'....and to be honest i'v never given a flying f*ck to what anyones bad thought's are towards a band that i like, i'v always strived to like the "obscure" me.

not what everyone else likes!!! why do i have to follow the brainwashed trend eh!?

same here, most of my friends havent heard crimson, those that do underestimate their importance to rock...without them, there would be no radiohead, no primus, no tool, no mars volta.
