Your vote only counts if you say something about the album. It doesn't need to be a paragraph, just a couple sentences about the album.

This album is flawless. It's very 50s, and I know a lot of people always say that this is the kind of jazz that'll put you to sleep because it is quite relaxing - but I love this as a late night driving album because it's just so good and it has that sort of vibe to it. These are just some really great tracks with some really, really good musicians laying down some of their best work. Easy 10 for me.

I'll go with an 8. It is a good album but I have heard better jazz albums from the same period, notably Blue Train from Coltrane. Still, this is the best album I've heard from Miles so far.

As I've listened to so little jazz I can't go on about how great this is, but at the same time, given that it's one of the tiny handful of jazz albums I did listen to and liked, it has to be up there. Reputationwise of course it's known to be next to flawless, a real standard, but all I can say is I really liked it and for me with a jazz album that's a big thing, so I'll give it a 9, don't shoot me: I don't know any better.

If I had to listen to one jazz album in order to save my life, it would definitely be this one or that Eric Dolphy thing. Those who know me will realise how big that is.

Seriously

if this doesn’t rank a 10 out of you please stop listening to music

I gave it a 9. It's a perfect album that accomplished its smoky vibe that it's established. I docked one point because it can be a little boring in a modern context.

Goddamnit Frown!!!

If it's going to be MB classics, personal enjoyment has some value in addition to influence, character, etc. I'd give the majority of his albums a 10 fwiw.

Calm the **** down. It may be a classic, but it's still only an album. And like I say, no jazz fan, I, and I still like it. Best I can do.

Do you have some kind of disability where you can’t read the names on that mother****ing album cover, son?

You don’t even need to listen to it to know it’s a ten.

Y’all need to let me handle this ****.
