Default What Sucks about This Artist?: Pink Floyd

God I hate Pink Floyd. I've gone on for so long so many times about how much I can't stand this group of self-important boremongers and I will always jump at the chance to do it some more. Someone please build a time machine so that we can ensure "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" never gets recorded.

#23 on the freak fighter top 40

but...the post waters **** sucks

and not just Waters but all of them were horrible self-absorbed pricks

Personality wise probably the most unlikable band I can think of

every interview I’ve read and heard confirms my belief that you can know nothing about music and have no music appreciation skills and still make great music

I'll always love this song:

But it's been about 5 years since I thought "I wanna listen to Pink Floyd". Just don't give a fuck about their music.

I consider myself a pretty big Floyd fan but I ****ing despise that song and most of the record. OH is spot on about the garbage Gilmour era as well.

I'll always touch myself when I hear Echoes though.

Do you have a woke opinion on why Wish You Were Here and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" suck other than them being insomnia cures?

Shine On sucks because they run the theme into the ground despite it not being very interesting to begin with. And I hate when they implement that corny ass sax. I can respect it as a coping mechanism for the band and the story about Syd being there is cool but I see no reason to listen to it.
