Default Frank Ocean did nothing wrong.

Everyone is slating Frank, and I don't think it's fair. He had a whole set choreographed, maybe even new songs planned, then he ****ed his ankle ruining his plans(I know that knocks me for six), not too mention he was likely dosed up with pain killers, if it was bad enough to interrupt his walking around.
Imagine you had your planned, plotted and choreographed for months then you couldn't do it because of an injury, I think you'd be depressed to. I know even things going off plan puts me in a bad mood, I cant imagine something so seminal going wrong how I'd react.
It's sad to see, I think havin his choreography/set ruined by his ankle, knocked him completely off centre, and that just left him in a foul mood. Shame. Plus he's likely dosed up on painkillers. I wish him well, and hope this all doesn't Knock his confidence or delay anything.
Are there any videos of the rehearsals?

I have no idea wtf any of this means. But I'll say it's impressive that you waited almost 17 years to make a post. Strong work.

OP is talking about his headlining Coachella set that he (Ocean) was an hour late for

I saw the title and thought this was a defense of all the boring music Frank has released.

Hot take alert.

Tbh though, I get the sentiment, but I find a lot of his music beautiful. Even if oftentimes, it's his voice doing 90% of the work.

Sometimes, remixes do his work justice - adding a bit more musical spice to otherwise sparse pieces:

Or better yet, this mashup of Deadmau5 and Frank Ocean (Thinkin Bout You) - just beautiful:

In another timeline, OP would be making this post about Axl Rose

More of a room temperature take really. I've given his music multiple listens over the years and I've consistently found it to be tepid. The remix you posted is somewhat better than his typical output I guess.

Not so much Frank Ocean as Frank River, perhaps?

I always liked his dad better. This is an 80s pop banger.
