Alright then, I was planning on moving to D.C. this fall to pursue my dreams of being a corrupted politician.

Recently however, I was asked to move to New York this fall instead to be with a woman who finds me very charming and to whom I've already spoken of marriage and children with.

We've only hung out in person once but I'll be going there this weekend coming up and provided she gets her new job (tomorrow is the interview) then we'll be taking a trip to Austin together.

Thoughts, benny boy?

Well, I'd say you could be politically active where ever you are going, but obviously if you do choose NY, it can't be on the same scale you'd like it to be. But you can always go back to DC. You're young.

Obviously, you should probably wait and see what type of feelings you develop for this girl (you already have some anyway).

I hate to say that you should just go with the flow, but it sounds like maybe instead of jumping to a decision right away, you can go with your gut, considering neither of your options are really going to hop on the next flight to Europe and disappear on you.

I feel as if MB has been there for a large portion of my life. What I'm really concerned about is that a similar situation happened last summer where a woman drove up from texas talking about wanting to marry me and it ended very poorly and I was crushed.

Im trying not to approach this weary, but i think its a problem best solved with alcohol.

Follow up question ben: do I invite her to Boston for an upcoming weekend?

I'd say if you are willing to give it a shot, you should always go for it. I mean to even pose the question you must have some amount of your being that wants you to try this out again.

So yeah, why not invite her up?

My girlfriend was going to attend two bridal showers this weekend, but recently, her twin sister has also promised the ice cream place they work at that they will work on Friday, limiting my time with her all weekend to 3 hours.

My mother went to the Kentucky Derby on Wednesday and my stepdad is travelling to the cottage for drinking and boating.

This means that I will not have a car.

One of my best friends is more than likely hanging out with his girlfriend all weekend, the other has no car and wouldn't leave the house if he did.

I'm not in the mood to throw a party, so what should I do for the three days coming up?

Masterbate.

Jaykay.

I don't know how available public transportation is or what in your area, so I wont comment on it. You could always call up one of your other friends, maybe take this chance to hang out with someone you haven't seen in a while. You might enjoy it.

And even on the party issue. You don't have to throw a huge thing. Just have a few of your better friends over and enjoy a night of belligerance among the 10 or 15 of you.

Well thanks, Ben, I'm going to see Spiderman 3 tonight, if all goes as planned.
