I just looked it up on the wiki, said it was used for clubbing in the 60-70s but the effects described don't seem like it would be a good club drug.

It's a sedative, it was around the scene but I don't know if it was used for the clubbing.

Also, you don't need drugs when you have ADHD and have exceptionally low expectations, so it's easy to get excited about everything. I had to do a drug test at work cause I was singing too loudly and skipping around the trailers like some crack addict. If I did drugs, I'm sure my heart would turn into an internal combustion engine.
