really depends on your area. you can find apartments anywhere from 25,000 to 150,000 dollars a year. maybe even more, something like that. depends on how many rooms/the location etc.

But I'd never be able to on part time.
damn, that's insane dude. i know the prices out in BC are absolutely insane as well so it doesn't really surprise me considering the proximity.

Wait, 150,000? That's like...12,000/mo. Unless I'm doing my math wrong. Or is that salary for person?

Yeah. My mom is moving into a place and she'll be paying close to 2,000 a month for a one bedroom. Granted, it's in a nice area. But when I asked her about it, she said it's what the market is right now.

Ohh. Gotcha. You'd be way better off just getting a house at that price.

that's nuts, i think you can get a rather nice 1 bedroom with great location at about 800-1k around here.

do you guys have a large class divide? like as in the rich being really rich and the poor being really poor? for some reason i could have sworn i've read that about most middle eastern countries.

So...out of complete irrelevant curiosity, I searched Beirut, and Google told me it's be 800$ for a Seattle to Beirut plane ride. That's extremely cheap.
