Metalocalypse is a funny show. Not one of my favorites, and can get old fast. But I still TiVo it.

The first Bad News was broadcast in 1982 same year as Spinal Tap. They are both pretty definitive. The second bad news was broadcast in 1987 and is hilarious.

According to my Comic Strip DVD box set. Bad News started production 6 months before Spinal Tap.

Ive got that boxset too. Had it over two years and have still only watched the first half dozen! Monster set though.
