I can't wait for new Danny Boyle, visually it looks lovely. But then again, The Beach looked nice.

I have high hopes that this is gonna be great though.

I don't know what to think of this one. It seemed ridiculous the first time I heard about it, but then again, it's a David Fincher film with Jesse Einsenberg in the lead. Any thoughts ?

I can't see the image but I assume you're talking about The Social Network. I don't think it looks very good. I used to love Fincher but his last two movies were pretty weak and the previews don't make this look interesting at all to me.

As a side note, it also seems, based on the trailer, that the movie is somehow presenting this story as if the guy who created Facebook invented social media. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but didn't Friendster and MySpace come first?

True. I thought it was supposed to be some teen flick, not some serious Fincher film. Still haven't seen the trailer, but the pictures are looking good, though I still don't know what the story's about.

My impression is that that pretty much is the story, the creation of Facebook and subsequent lawsuits over the rights to it and whatnot.
