So Frown is supposed to be next but I can't find his album anywhere and therefore need him to either switch his rec or provide me with a link. However, I'm feeling productive af so I'm going to review something anyway. Tristan is next in line, so it looks like I'll be taking up my beef with Animal Collective once again.

Animal Collective - Feels
Recommended by Tristan Geoff

Did You See the Words: So right from the get-go I'm not feeling this. The vocals don't seem to fit the music whatsoever. I like the repetitiveness and the way the tracks teases you as if it's going to explode but instead just keeps building and building. However as a whole, much like with the two other AC albums I've heard, it doesn't do anything for me.

Grass: Oh hey, I kind of like this one. It's sort of cute, but yet still has that slightly experimental edge to it. This isn't necessarily great, but it's better than the first track and at the very least it doesn't annoy or bore me.

Flesh Canoe: Speaking of boring... this just exists. Why does it feel like they were trying so hard to attain a heavy feel with the production? It's like the band is trying to be something they're not (just like on the other albums I've heard) and instead it sounds like they're trying to rip off Chelsea Wolfe's gimmick but doing a really poor job. GTFO Animal Collective.

The Purple Bottle: This isn't bad. It has a nice melody to it and the vocals have a nice flow to them. So far this album has ranged from horrible to okay with no stops in between. I genuinely think at this point Animal Collective just are not for me.

Bees: Oh my god there's like 25 minutes left of this. Maybe the 2nd half will be really good, idk. Mord said this was his favourite track, it has to be good, right? Well it's not. One dude plays his guitar like he's Frownland while the vocalist does his thang and we get a mix of synths, piano, and whatever else the band feels like doing to piss me off. Another issue I have with these guys is that it feels like they're being experimental just for the ****ing sake of it, it doesn't bring anything to their music. It doesn't sound cool, or wild, or even all that innovative. It just sounds like ****ing ****.

THEBEESTHEBEESTHEBEESTHEBEES

How about the **** off

Banshee Beat: b o r i n g a n d a l s o f u c k t h i s a e s t h e t i c

You know what? Nah this is actually pretty atmospheric, kind of a dank track. It gets a pass I guess, it's about time the band take a break from making me want to kill myself.

Daffy Duck: Did I say boring? Oh and this time I mean it. Poop on this.

Loch Raven: Another track that is pretty interesting. Very psychedelic pop based, I like this a lot actually. Man, what a shame. These guys can actually make good music but instead they chose to make literal ****.

Turn Into Something: Last song, **** yes. I can't wait to be done with this ****. I'm going to turn my brain to mush with some bomb ass metalcore ASAP. Not good, not bad. This didn't make me like the album any more, and I don't think it could have made me like it any less.

Final Verdict: This was not good. I know you wanted to turn me onto to Animal Collective Trit, but clearly they just aren't for me. To be honest I'm not sure how they're for anyone though, because that was a pile of schlock with a couple of cool ideas mixed in.

FAIL

Pretty much has been my experience with AC. I don't get them and I've tried to. There's nothing spectacular or redeeming about them.

Feels is my favorite Animal Collective album but probably because I was threshold the first time I heard it, so...anchoring etc.
