Yeah only 1 week! I'm not sure if we had a longer break in the middle of the year though... Cool, I've been into the city campus a few times for various things! In Australia I was traveling for over an hour to uni every day so like I said everything seems really close by for me haha. It is indeed nice! lol the Craccum, I am shocked by some of the stuff I read in there :| Anyway good luck with all your work you have to get done!

Only 1 week for midsemester break! Do you get extra time off in between semesters? Yeah my lecs are all in the city this semester and I wouldn't fancy having to make round-trips to Epsom though I suppose it could be convenient for someone who lives in Mt Eden. Is it nice over there? Does Craccum extend its reach that far haha?

I am loving Auckland! The culture is very similar to Melbourne really, the only difference is that Auckland is very tiny to me and everything is just so close! I can't get over it, it's great. UoA is also great, I was pretty happy to get 2 weeks off, in Aus we only get 1 week for midsemester. But I still haven't done all my hw :S I'm on the Epsom campus, are you in the city?

That's good to know, I'll be on it - you should see the Black Seeds live if you ever get the chance. I'm thinking of going to the Phoenix Foundation in May too.

So how are you finding Auckland suburbia and UoA? I'm rather disgruntled at how much work they've given me to do over the hols (and how little I've done)!

That sounds awesome! Disappointed I missed it. Ahh you have to see FFD live at some point! So much fun :) I think they're a while off another NZ/Aus tour though.

Yeah it was in the middle of Feb, almost exactly 3 years after they first came here. Like last time, Jakob opened for them (NZ band I've seen 4 times now) and they both put on a fantastic show. The venue, sound and setlist were better this time around as well. If I wasn't such a raving fanboy I'd say that you missed out lol. But on the other hand I've yet to see Fat Freddy's live ;)
