Thank you for posting those links.

That Turrican medley was awesome.

I've done a bit of research on music genres, and found a few that could be applicable, but none of them seem to have that futuristic vibe that I'm looking for.

Some of the genres that sound (based on its description) close to what I'm looking for are: prog house, deep house, prog trance, downtempo and other techno/electronic styles.

I would classify this as dreamy ambience.. Lots of subgenres in the ambient genre though, so there might be one that is more applicable.

Never the less, this is ambience
