Just getting into hip hop (and only like the underground variety) but, there is a new underground supergroup consisting of: Royce Da 5'9", Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Joe Buddens. If you know underground hip hop, that is a heavenly line-up to people like me. Their debut album is due soon...and I'm sure it'll actually come above ground.

Does Blue October have an album slated for this year?

I'm looking forward to the new Autolux album 'Transit Transit' due out sometime this year. If it's as good as Future Perfect i'll be a very happy camper indeed

Maylene III is coming out, but I don't know if you still like them.

Never got around to getting their debut, but I still listen to II occasionaly. That track you sent me awhile back was pretty good, I'll have to wait and see on the album though.

Vivian Girls
Jay Reatard
Atlas Sound
No Age

4 of my most favorite bands of the last two years combined with all the awesome stuff that's come out so far this year? 2007 isn't looking as perfect as it used to.

Jay Reatard relesed the first single digitally: "It Ain't Gonna Save Me", and it is terrific.
