Hilary Duff (music video, single, fan, Christina Aguilera, quote)

Despite the recent change in music, style and everything, I'm still a 'fan' but rather disappointed.

The music is and has always been solid, the movies are basically hit or miss for me.

The image is going downhill and that's saddening because it's the route lots of popstars take and the smart ones decide to return to their roots after experimenting/testing the whorish route (see Christina Aguilera).

The sexy image is something I'm not a fan and wasn't honestly expecting. The music isn't much worse, like I said, but the music videos and movies are. I wish she would go back to the cute, innocent image most people liked her for.

Any opinions?

She has no "musical roots" to return to, and she has no control over any artistic development her music takes. Though being male as I am, I do prefer her newer image to her old one

Well, perhaps it was poor wording but I meant her earlier image/music more than anything.

The attempt to be sexy musically is just an attention whore kind of idea that isn't original which celebrities so sorely lack.

I don't know, I just don't like it.

From a musical standpoint, I can't stand her. Its just not my cup o' tea.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a movie with her in it, but chances are unless she's naked, getting her face stabbed, or being eaten by a zombie then I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
