I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

I love Zappa, a genius.

so many great great albums; weasels ripped my flesh, sheik yerbouti

he medled in all sorts of music which was unusual for a rock musician

like i said, a genius

Moley made me bump this.

So, this is the most pathetic official thread I have ever seen. For a musical genius, you think you people could muster up a bit more enthusiasm. I recently (last month) purchased Absolutely Free on vinyl and every time I listen to it I like it even more. Quickly becoming one of my favorite all-time albums.

Comments, anyone? Tell us, what is your favorite Zappa album. Zappa period, early, mid, late? I think his first couple Mothers albums are probably his best work. But that's just me.
