To write a bizarro erotica book that had Kirk Cameron hooking up with a Crocoduck. I just loved the idea and I felt it was timely after the gay marriage ruling. It was definitely meant to be subversive. I knew that once Cheese Jesus had sex with Kirk I was being really naughty.

True story. Me and a bud walked into a record store back then and bought Foxtrot and Nursery Crime purely based on the album covers - not having a clue who Genesis was or what kind of music they played. Needless to stay it was the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with the band.
