Attention punk bass players (solo, band)

I play bass,

i was wondering if anyone had any wierd or just different techniques or things they do that most bassists dont do,

for example im a bg user of chords

Ive starting playing bass in a punk band...like old school AFI...i mainly stick to the top 2 strings and sliding for each note and switch to the bottom and sorta shadow the solos.not to unique but thats what i do with my bass.
